The Three Kids on the Steps
For this project, we were given the picture on the left and we were to restore it. The picture on the right is the version of the photo that I restored. I fixed the window sill, the flower pots in the window, and the rips and folds using the stamp tool in Photoshop.
Mickey Mantie Baseball Card
For this, we were also given an original photo to restore. This time it was a Mickey Mantie baseball card, and there were not too many restorations that had to be made. There were faded words, a few minor tears, and writing over the baseball bat. I used the stamp tool to restore all of this photo.
Gallery Full of One Painting
We were given the two photos below and were to put the painting of the woman on the left in the image of the gallery to the right. The picture on the bottom is a result of layering and distorting the image of the woman and placing it in the gallery over all of the frames in the photo.
The Couple in the Park
We had to repair the damages on the photo. Since the woman did not have a coat, I found a photo of one on google and put it in photoshop to make it as if the woman was wearing a coat. Afterwards, I added color to the black and white photo.
The woman in the wedding dress and the portrait of the man
For this exercise, we had to repair the photos on the left side. The top left photo was repaired by selecting and dragging the pieces of the photo back together, then the rest was restored with the clone stamp tool. In the bottom left photo, the background was converted to a solid color and contrast was increased.
This exercise was to put the man in the picture on the far left in the photo in the center. The result was the photo on the right. I selected the man in the original photo and simply dragged him into the photo of the dock. I then cleaned up the edges around him and adjusted contrast and whatever else was necessary to make it look as if he was actually there.
